Harry Lamance 

I am currently the Police Chief of Boyd Texas.

I am 59 years old and have lived in Wise Co. Precinct 3 all of my life. Four generations of my immediate family have graduated from Boyd High school.

In 1970 I married my wife Cindy and in the following 39 yrs of marriage we were blessed with 3 children and now have 11 grandchildren.

In 1970 I joined the US Army reserves and served 6 years. I received an Honorable Discharge .

Later the same year I started a welding business and worked 20 plus years with two of my close friends. I with my partners built metal buildings, pipe fences and did general welding. I left the partnership in good standing.

In 1988 I went to work for the Wise county Sheriff Department. I worked there for 14 years as a patrol Deputy, six of those years as Patrol Sgt. I left the sheriffs office in good standing.

In 2004 I had an opportunity to go to work for the City of Boyd as Police Chief. I am currently employed as such. During my work career I have dealt with different budgets and other work related obstacles, I am at ease with difficult circumstances.

I have numerous family members and friends that reside in precinct 3, I have a personal interest in the citizens of precinct 3.

Harry Lamance will work tirelessly to see that you, the taxpayer are represented accordingly.
